Q: Am I a candidate for hair extensions?
A: The hair in the crown area needs to be at least three inches in length. Also there may be health issues relating to your body and your hair that may prevent hair extensions from being an option. If you are unsure whether or not you are a candidate for hair extensions, call and talk with me.
Q: How long does it last?
A: Other than normal hair loss, your extensions will last approximately 3 months with proper home care and maintenance.
Q: How long does the process take?
A: The application will take 1-3 hours depending on the variables mentioned above. Once extensions are applied, the hair is cut and styled to blend the hair into the extensions.
Q: Can you match my hair?
A: The hair extentions are available in variety of colours, from blondes, reds, and brunette tones to black and multi tones!
Q: How do I manage my hair extensions once I get them?
A: These extensions are treated much the same as if it was your natural hair they are 100% human hair . There are certain brushes, shampoos, and conditioning products that are recommended. A loose braid or scrunchee is suggested at bedtime to discourage tangling while you sleep.
Q: Can I swim and do normal activities?
A: Yes, once the application is completed, you will receive a home care maintenance sheet so you will know the best way to care for your extensions.
Q: Can my hair be coloured.
A: Yes, it's possible to do your roots, however if you dye the extensions, please do a strand test first.
Q: Can hair extensions be styled with heat rollers, curling iron, or a round brush?
A: Yes, as long as tugging and pulling is kept to a minimum.
